In preparation for Salmon Jam's Small Fry event, the USFS has created a fun scavenger hunt for kids of all ages (parental help required). The scavenger hunt starts on 7/8/22 and runs through 7/16/22. What Grows Here? Cordova's Native Plants Join Prince William Sound Science Center educators for a nature journaling event at Cordova's Native Plant Garden (behind the hospital near Odiak pond). Free and open to all levels of experience. PWSSC will provide basic nature journaling supplies.

Discover Cordova: Tidepools

Explore the smaller organisms that share our shores! Educators from the Science Center will be on hand to help guide exploration, lead a scavenger hunt, and share educational games. Meet at Orca Beach. Please dress for the weather. Rubber boots and rain pants are recommended for full immersive exploration.
